[Farmall] Re: Belt pulley gear alignment and shims.

I turned the mechanism after installing and it turns smoothly with no binding, grinding etc. I will open plug to check visually. If necessary do you shim the housing with additional gaskets or what? Maybe you shim the shaft?
All advice appreciated.
