I agree, I replaced the water level indicator on my Stanley with a reflex 
glass.  It is hard to see while driving, and I have to carry a flashlight in 
daylight hours to see the water level as the glass is just above floor 
level.  It is still better than the original indicator which was a pointer 
that read high, normal and low.
