[AJD] Question

Tom-
I was afraid that any wax that got into a scratch/grove could not be gotten
back out.  The top of the hood has areas where paint no longer resides due
to the lack of material when they were originally painted.  I would be
curious to know just how thick their paint jobs were from the factory.  We
certainly lay much more material on them when they are restored today.

A good quality wax should do it. That's what keeps cars looking good.
