Mike, look at it again.  There are two bars that run out from the top of the 
blade.  One runs over the top close to the near end of the blade.  The other 
goes down the side at the top on the far end of the blade.  Look closely at 
the one nearest in the picture.  You will see a gusset where it is welded to 
the top of the blade.  Those bars continue past the rear of the blade and 
are welded to two vertical bars that go down to the blade frame.
