[AT] Older Vermeer round baler question

I use a 504 C
 
I cut 6 inches off my springs to make the belts hold tight when the  baler 
had an empty chamber.  I will look in the mornign to find my baler  manual..  I 
could fax a copy to you, or if you will leave me a number by  e-mail I can 
call.  probably easier to call..
 
I have a manual somewhere in my files....
 
You also have to adjust the springs on the infeed rollers if you are h  aving 
a problem with starting a core or getting it to pick up.  A good  baler when 
you get it sdjusted and get u sed to it..
