Yes, you could replace 12.4-36 with 11.2-36.

These tires will be shorter by 1.7" in overall diameter and 1.4" narrower.

Guys,

I have a tractor here with 12.4 X 36 inch rears.  I'm finding that new ones
are a bit pricy
and was wondering if an 11.2 X 36 would work?
