    Boring and installing 3/32" sleeve liners will likely be the most cost
effective repair if the original pistons are in good shape. It would also
require a little less boring.   If the sleeves have not been disturbed they
should stand being bored in place. Leaving a 1/4" to 3/8" step on the bottom for
the new liner to rest on and to avoid boring past where the original sleeve
tapers out.   The After market 4" pistons and sleeves have been available for
some time and do not require any change to the block.  The outside diameter of
the original and the after market sleeves are about the same.
