Thanks guys for your replies.  I would also think that connecting the mower 
ds to the installed pto pump would increase the angle on the driveshaft 
U-joints and that might be a bad idea.

  Should be bringing it up to the shop in the next few weeks or so.  Will 
take a good look at it then.
