[AJD] Another trivia question - Pre-Screeners??

We had a 3010 Diesel. It had diamond shaped mesh under the screen.

Greg:

I think I have run on to a bit of evidence that may be of significant
importance. My brother owned a 1957 520 since it was new. He just sold it a
couple years ago. I found the picture I took of it. It has the round hole
Pre-Screener on it.

I'll have to check with him to see if he ever replaced it or changed it from
when it was new. I doubt it sincerely. I think he will remember whether he
did or not. But here is a tractor I know the history of. Now that I look at
this I seem to recall this was one of the reasons I had drawn my previous
conclusion.

The more I think about it, the NOS ones I had some 5-10 years ago were
diamond I'm pretty sure. But again we're faced with the possibility that
they were NOS replacement prescreeners and not
NOS production prescreeners.

You would think something like this would be a snap to nail down wouldn't
you?

I'll take a look upstairs and see what the NewGen prescreeners are next
week. Pretty sure the
one I just sold for a 5020 was diamond though. More conflicts!
