[AJD] Unusual 430 "W"?? on ebay

I'm not all that familiar with what a 430 W serial number plate is supposed
to look like but it sure looks like the "W" has been scratched in after the
fact.

Unless I'm missing all of my brain cells, it looks like a normal serial
number plate for a 430W of that era to me.
