selling the stoves. The old stove has 9 heat ranges.  The 
new one has 5. The controls are substantially different 
between  them. The new one is self igniting and even has one 
thermostat setting (if  you buy and install a thermostat) 
where it will shut clear down when the  house is warm and 
restart on its own when the house gets cool  again.
The older stove going in the shop will likely stay  either 
at the lowest setting at night or turned off while I have 
the  wood stove heating during the day.

Well! Now I see  why mine cost so much more. I like the idea of the stove 
shutting down when the  house is warm mine keeps it a comfortable 72 in here all 
day and 65 at night.  and all i do is feed it once a day.
