I read Antique power and Farm Collector magazine.  One or both usually have 
an add in them from a tractor place that is buying parts or whole working 
SOS trannies.  I'm betting they 'sell' too.

Have your friend hit a TSC store, and browse one of those mags.. or flip for 
the 5$ cover price and buy it and enjoy some reading..
