Joel:

Welcome to the list. A fellow Washingtonian no less. Good H grills are hard
to come by. I know because I own a 1941 and 1942 H. There are three sources
for H parts that might be of assistance. Unfortunately they are all in the
Midwest. Two in Missouri and one in Wisconsin.

Lindstroms and Sharps in Missouri and Dave Cook in Northern Wisconsin. They
all advertise in the Green Magazine and the Two Cylinder Magazine. If you
don't get those just holler and I'll get you some phone numbers and web site
information.

Are you a member of the Cascade Two Cylinder Club? If not it would be a good
organization to join as there are over 150 members who all are JD
collectors.

Subject: [AT] John Deere parts wanted

I need front grills for my Dads John Deere H project. Also a radiator cap.
Have tried some local sources and am now turning to all of you. A little
history if interested. This is an H my great grandad had. Has a buzz saw
mounted to it, and was used to saw all firewood back in the day in
Wisconsin, cultivate(Dad remembers how long it took to adjust width of
rears, guess it shortened tempers in an otherwise easy going family) <G> and
used to pull the manure spreader. He now has this tractor in Oregon and is
having it restored by a neighbor. I would appreciate any parts available or
any leads and or sources for these parts.

          Thanks
        Joel Frtz
