In my O & S Engines and Boilers catalogue, all of their submerged tube vertical boilers had a shell thickness of 1/4 inch. On the 30 inch diameter and larger, furnace thickness was 5/16 inch. This also applied to the cone. All heads were listed at 3/8 inch. Francis A. Orr
