ASAE still sells a book with all the serial numbers in it called "JD Tractor
1918-1994". I have it around here somewhere but I have never used it as a
serial number reference. Book description:

"Descriptions begin with the Froelich and Waterloo Boy and end with models
introduced in 1993. Included are over 130 illustrations and a helpful chart
listing serial numbers along with dates the models were produced. 85 pg.,
11x8.5 in., sb."
