Thanks for all the advice on disk cloning. I like the idea of buying a new drive and just being able to copy the contents of the old to the new. Is there anything that I need to watch out for when buying a new drive, such as compatability with the drivers or cards on her system? I notice that most if not all recommend Western Digital, is that there a reason for that?

Thanks,
Mike

Go buy a new Western Digital Hrd drive, it comes with their disk copy
software, just install the new drive as a slave drive, and run the disk that
came with it. It will make an exact copy of the first drive. Very easy. I
use this method to bck up our file server at work and at my home.
