Leroy:

You turn the drive coupler until it fires out of the #1 cylinder plug
connection. The hold it right there. The drive coupler lugs the should be
horizontal with the ground when it is in its mounted position. If you have
the tractor flywheel in position then the mating slots in the governor shaft
will also be horizontal. There are only two ways to engage the drive lugs
into the slots. One will be correct the other will have your timing off 180
degrees. If so switch the wires.

John,

So because its been rebuilt its harder to do? I did it with my fingers
before. I know when I took it off it was just about ready to fire. I
assume I just need to get it back to that position let it fire and then turn
it backwards and then put it on.

Correct?

I'm wondering if the position has changed since its been rebuilt?

LeRoy
