Before you spend money on a new starter, check your grounds - clean ALL the 
connections (including the surfaces where the starter housing mates to the 
clutch housing, pull the starter and see if it spins easily on jumper 
cables, clean the commutator, check the brushes, and check your battery 
cables thoroughly. Then get back to us. :-)
