That is funny. I observed the self appointed Correct Police checking to see
if the bolt heads on a tractor had the right markings once. That was more
than I could handle. Who knows, JD may put their logo on the freeze plug!
:-) That sucker would leak if it didn't have a JD part in there. :-)

Simple fix, measure id of hole and or take the old one to your Napa  dealer
Very few of the correct police can spot a non Deere freeze plug
