[AT] Dangers of farming

Charlie I guess he must have been a pretty tough old guy to still even be 
out there farming at 85. I heard the rescuer interviewed on the news and he 
said the old fellow had been trying to dig himself out from under the 
implement using his hammer and file but was prevented by tree roots in the 
ground. He was quoted as saying "If I'd had a jacknife I'd have been out of 
there in twelve hours".
There was a similar incident a couple of years ago where a farmer had his 
hand caught in his rockpicker somehow and was stuck there for a few days. 
Finally he cut off a finger or so with his pocket knife and drove back to 
his yard for help. Its amazing what we can do sometimes in a desparate 
situation.
