[AJD] Allen condensor and coil tester

Interesting thought, I just took a look at the B service manual, indeed I
recognize the tester as being an Allen unit that I have used for years and
will probably pick up some technique by studying it. But the unit pictured
is a more general purpose with a volt meter and an ammeter. The one I'm
looking for at the moment is more specialized as it's set up for testing
condensors and coils. The single meter is marked with red and green areas
for bad and good leakage and resistance on the condensor side, I forget what
the ranges are labeled on the coil side. The meter needle is centered at
rest, deflects left for condensor tests and deflects right for coil tests.
