If it's not pumping it probably just needs a new baffle plate in the
pump.
I got one from Wendell Everett (740-922-3335) last summer.

My son works for a farmer that has a old
Minneapolis-Moline forklift and the water pump is
going bad.  He thinks it's a model R.  Any idea about rebuilding the
pump or finding a replacement?  

I'm pretty sure it's a "worker" not a "looker".
