Just getting the DSL connection installed and working was a
real PITA for my S-I-L. Took over 3 months to finally get
everything connected and working, including replacing the
original DSL modem. I certainly hope you have better luck.

moved now . Tomorrow I have to go back and get an ethernet cable to make the
final connection . Then the setup fun begins . For tonight I'm on dialup .
The router has a built in firewall , and FWIW also came with a trial copy
of Norton Security . I still want the external drive .
Once its all up and running then I will have to unsubscribe and change
email accts : ( I seen to recall signing up is a ,well it took several
