http://grc.com/    this is the link to the "Shields Up"  site.  They have 
changed it a bit and the "probe my ports" button is gone but if you scan 
down the page and click on the "shields up" paragraph  you will find the 
place where you can test your system.   If you don't have the security on 
Zone Alarm turned up to the max you will fail the test.  Unfortunately I 
have to turn mine down at times because it interferes with some web sites I 
have to interact with.
