There was a guy that posted pictures on the Unofficial
Allis site a while back where he brazed up the end of
the shifter to make it tight as new. I can't find it
right now but when you pull it you will see how it's
worn.

Subject: [AT] AC WD45 Tranny question

Hi all,
The shifting on my WD45 has been sloppy for years. Right now, I have it
in 1st gear and can not shift it out. I suspect the shift lever may have

come out of position. Is this likely to be in the tranny itself, or
could it be "just" the shift tower assembly? Is there a kit, or
recommended group of parts, to re-build such a shift tower? Sorry, only

have operators manual, no parts or service manuals yet. Recommendations
for these manuals? Thanks in advance.
Al in sunny NW MN.
