[AT] Pitchforks - new vs. old.

Are you sure that the old fork did not get its shape from years of use? 
Most older manure forks I have seen and used have shown considerable erosion
to the tines.  Perhaps if you move enough manure with the new fork it will
start to work better :-)

mentioned it possibly being a garden spading fork. It is labelled on the

tine manure fork. Just a bit of follow up info... I looked even closer at
the tines and 
they are heavier on the back right where they come off of the cross bar and
there may be 
a "very slight" taper but nothing like my old one. I also looked at a
couple of other old 
ones and they were also tapered like the old one I had switched to using.
On close 
examination the new one actually looks to be generally good quality except
for the shape 
of the tines. If it was mine I would tackle it with a few strips of emory
cloth...   :-)
	Trying to be fair to the new stuff, I have been impressed with how
useful and durable 
the new plastic poop sifters are as long as you use them the way that they
were designed 
to be used. Not intended for wet heavy packed into bedding poop. See one
