BD,

I know this is jumping the gun a lot, but have there been any discussions about where Cubfest 2006 might be? Thanks.

Don

Subject: [Farmall] Cubfest information

As some of you may be aware we began a sort of traveling workshop / show /
just plain get-together for Farmall / International Cub owner's / lovers.
This began as a cub workshop at Albie Badaracco's place in western PA a few
years ago and Albie suggested we move it around so we went to George
Willer's a couple of years ago and were at Farmer's place last year.
I am hosting this year's get together. I have posted information on the
ATIS cub forum and on farmallcub.com but I realize that some of you do not
participate in these forums. So, I thought I would extend an invitation
here to anyone who would like to attend.
The event will take place in Stoutsville, Ohio which is 25 miles south
of Columbus, Ohio. It will be on June 17, 18 & 19. Friday will be a
set-up / arrival day with an evening campfire (Dotson Inferno) cook-out /
carry-in and social gathering. Saturday's activities will include a couple
of workshops and tinkering time as well as some tractor games and the
world's first (as far as we know) cub-only tractor pull. What doesn't get
done Saturday will be finished up Sunday.
You can plug Stoutsville, OH into any good mapping program for
directions or e-mail me and I will help with directions. I have arranged
for motel discounts in both Circleville, Oh - 5 miles to the west and a
couple of places in Lancaster, OH - about 12 miles to the east. There
will also be some primitive camping available on the grounds.
Everyone is welcome to attend whether you have a cub or not.
One of the local churches is providing a home-made chicken and noodle
dinner on Saturday evening for $10 per person. The menu is Chicken and
noodles, mashed potatoes, slaw, green beans, apple sauce, rolls, drink and
dessert all included in the price. If you plan on attending the dinner, I
need a head count so they will know how many to prepare for.
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions for the gathering, or
would like to make a dinner reservation please contact me off-list.

I hope this does not violate any list rules, If so, I apologize in
advance.

Bigdog
