[AJD] darn electrical systems

Nick,
This probably won't help you at all, but let me tell you my story. I
had the same thing happen a couple months ago on my 1989 Chev pickup. I
had to buy a battery quick before closing, etc. etc. Very high priced
battery, for me anyway. The thing was dead the next morning! I checked
all the likely culprits, underhood lamp, glove box lamp, nothing
draining voltage at all. And furthermore, the battery stayed up just
fine. This pickup did the same thing a couple years ago. I blamed it
on the battery then, also. About 3 weeks ago I was driving down the
highway and out of the blue, the interior lighting came on. I could not
shut it off with any switches, as I had turned none on. I finally got
the light out by disconnecting the driver's door dome light switch.
About 4 bucks replaced that switch and I think my problems are solved.
You could have the same one. Just a thought.
Now if I could just figure out why the starter solenoid on my 4020
doesn't always work I would be a happy camper. That intermittant
sun-of-a-gun as been bugging me for three years!
