[AT] engine and tractor auction

Ralph, now this is the sort of equipment that was used most often in my 
childhood in northern Indiana---lots and lots of smallish general 
farms---most grains were harvested for on-farm use (ground for feed, etc.)

Powered equipment was uncommon, but I think that this photo is a powered 
combine, isn't it?  I imagine that the "thing" sticking up to the left 
of the auger might be a breather??  Did they )JD or others) make left 
hand and right hand versions?---I know that all I ever say had the 
infeed to the right of the tractor.

We had to suffer---the best we had to pull the combine (& everything 
else) with was an M---I guess this is why today I still don't see why 
folks fuss so much about not having live pto!!!I got away from the farm 
before we ever had such a thing!  It was either the M or an olllld 
unstyled JD G---how I'd love to have that today!!!
