JD pawl needed- was Re: [AT] Really depressing loss of old iron...

Brian:

When the dealer checks on availability of the D802A, make sure he checks the
"Parts Depot" in Chilton, WI. They have 8 in stock. JD doesn't show any as
being available in their current warehouse stock. Don't know what a
nationwide "dealer search" might turn up.

Dean, hmm I don't know what to make of that! The pawl is the only part I
believe I need and I will check with the "local" dealer (in Salinas) as to
the price availability of the pawl. I don't suppose anyone has a good used
one??? Price is important to me at the moment with my embarassingly low
income level. LOL. Anyone else with any feedback? Thanks to all and I hope
to figure out the model number someday.
