On the other hand the case is simple straight  forward easy to work on and 
will last till the drive and the tractor is  completely worn out an still keep 
going.
The brakes are small disk on the  side of the tractor takes about 10 minutes 
to change the JD takes a complete  tear down of the entire tractor to get to 
theirs. 
I would go for a Case look  around at the local outfits you will see alot 
more cases than any other tractor  doing commercial work. that has to say 
something for them.
