[AJD] Top Speed for 1936 JD D

Nope, he mentioned no names Charlie. No big deal.  If
this Saturday won't work, don't worry about it. Could
always shoot for next Saturday or an evening during
the week next week. I'm usually home from work about
3:30 or 4.

I drove the D home last night after work. It took me 2
hours and 10 minutes to drive the 10.75 miles. I
figure that is about a 5mph average. I didn't have it
running flat out.  It died on me about 1/4 mile from
home. I thought "oh great!" I checked the fuel in the
tank and there was still plenty in it. I looked in the
sediment bowl to make sure fuel was getting to it.
Happened to notice the fuel shut off valve had dropped
down just enough to evidently stop the flow of fuel.
Opened the valve, cranked it up, and we were off
again.  Lots of looks, waves, and thumbs up from
people in their yards, garages, and driving down the
