Well, get the Serial Number, then go here:

That will tell you when it was made. They have a service manual (how to fix
things), a parts manual (what things you are fixing) and an operator's
manual (which you already have). They also have an after-market service
manual that tells you things the service people didn't know or didn't want
to tell you.

I'm not sure what year. I not familiar with the codes to figure it out. It
does need some work and so the need for the manual. I located a owners
manual but I'm not sure if this is what I need.
What I would like to get is info on how to fix what needs to be fixed. 
Brakes,for sure ,lights,tune-up etc.
