[Steam-engine] Milwaukee Solvay Coke Plant Engine Pictures

Several months ago Larry Tucker sent me a CD of photos of the Milwaukee Solvay Coke Plant engines taken after the compressor building had been demolished.  There is well over 100 photos which I am uploading to two Webshots albums.  The URL for the first album is:

I will get the rest of the photos in the second album uploaded tonight.  I wish I had the money to bring one of those Buckeye engines to Youngstown, but the timing is very bad for us as we are in the middle of a huge expenditure in moving the Tod Engine and setting it up.  However the Rock River Thresheree Association in Edgerton, Wisconsin has saved one of the verticals and Larry wants to save another of the verticals.

Be warned! These aren't pretty pictures. Graphic images of historic iron on death row!
