Yes, I turned one of these over around 1962---we didn't have forks, used 
a small boom with chains to carry castings.  Needless to say, the ctr of 
gravity was even higher than with the forks.

And, yes, we had to go to an outside yard!  Back then OSHA was not 
around to save us from ourselves, so once in a while we had to actually 
use a little judgement on our own!!
