[Farmall] Farmall 504 diesel engine

Yes, it is a balance shaft.  It is slightly eccentric and runs (probably) at 
2x crankshaft speed.  The gears are timed.  Make sure you get it back in 
time at assembly or you will be doing it over.  If you are unsure how to 
time it, get the shop manual.
