[AT] hydraulics question

On my Kubota if you  pull the lever for the 3 point hitch all the way back 
the bucket will lockup and  you have to power it down it won't free fall by 
pushing the lever.  I  cussed this thing for sometime till I figured that one out. 
I never could find  anything about it in the book either. also my friend 
Mike's Kubota does the same  thing 
It still creeps down though this is a 1977 model and i don't think  anyone 
has touched the hydraulics on. It has less than 800 hrs on the tractor.
