Interesting speed on your internet connection Steve.
As I've said before, I am on wireless broadband (beamed from a stationary antennae to
subscribers in its footprint) and I have had it for about four years. Interesting thing is the
speed is scalable.
I just ran a speed test and I am consistently running over 2 Mbps which is well over T-1 speeds.
And yet I am still irritated at the speeds sometime as many factors contribute to final
connection speeds. Plus it's always on, no dialing up, and I have at present 5 computers hooked
to it in the house.
Pricing is a bit steep, about $60 a month but I feel it's worth it for the speed and ease of
use.
The great thing about wireless broadband is it can be installed anywhere if a company wants to.
City rooftops, countryside, whereever.

And just when we think we have this all figured out, Internet2 is coming! Oh yeah!
