Mike,

I'm with Frank.  Those MS carbs aren't that tough.  There really aren't that
many parts to them, and although I haven't seen any of Roberts tapes, I've
heard they are really good.  I think I've got the service and parts manuals
around here somewhere if you want to give it a go.  Once you get this one
done, maybe you can hang up a shingle, supplement your retirement income,
and take some of the heat off Robert :)

I wouldn't hesitate to put in one of the basic carb kits, but listening to
the folks on 
the List talk about pulling brass plugs, drilling out passage ways, finding
"hidden" 
passages, etc.... I'm not real confident about that.  I'd sure like to at
least hear the 
ole gal run before I trash her carb.  It's soaking in a bucket of diesel
right now...
