Rick:

Check to verify that the points are closing and that when they are closed
there is "0" ohms across them.

Hey guys...im wondering if anyone can help me with some ideas to this
puzzle.....i've been trying to help a local farmer get a 1931 ford model A
truck going....it has the original engine and 6 volt system...our problem is
we are unable to get any spark out of the coil output....we have power on
both sides of the coil when we turn the key on(i thought that was kinda odd
since one is positive and one is negative)...also we get power at the
condensor when the key is turned on....when we crank it over we get nothing
out of the coil ouput/wire that goes to the distributor...we have replaced
the coil and get the same thing......anyone have any ideas?
