	Hi Steve:

I make it a rule to almost never buy software... I find that I can often get
free software that is as good or better than a lot of stuff for sale. All you
have to do is look around and try stuff. I tried a whole herd of family tree
programs and let me tell you that most of them were trash. Absolute trash that
someone should have been ashamed of... Others were good and some quite good. I
picked the free version of Legacy Family Tree because I felt it was the best
for my use. I had already used some old oddball programs I had picked up at
flea markets but never liked them. After transfering data over and using the
free version of Legacy for almost a year (I started with version 4 then updated
to 5.0) I then decided that I liked it so well that I bought the full version
including the printed manual. Thats right... Me... farmer the cheapskate,
bought the full version... :-) I have never regretted it.

Heck, I think you could even keep track of old tractors with it... ;-)
