Ken, can you just get a measurement and you are off to the closest auto
parts store they have all sizes,
the JD ones are usually very shallow , I like to use a little higher sided
one's they go in easier and are in my opinion
a better deal than just the flat disc.

Subject: [AJD] Welch plug

Since the list is slow maybe this is a good time to ask about a part. The
part is listed as a "welch plug" part number 30H 11R which JD parts says is
invalid. This plug goes in the bottom of the clutch fork bearing, part #
A21R. This is on a 1948 A.

I'm wondering if the plug is really needed; would it cause an oil leak? Can
the plug simply be made and if so does anyone have an idea of the specs?
Thanks for any ideas.

Ken
