Neale,

Darn it! You would have to tell us about that when my time machine is

To all, yesterday I found a small notebook in my archives. In 1964 while car

pooling to work my friend said to me ' Theres an old John Deere over home
you
need to buy'----you could make some $ on it. Long story short-----Here are
the
prices I paid to repair the 1947 GM.
GM $75, tires$46 [tractor fire] delivery$6,$.80 oil filter,$1.04spk
plugs,$1.00 wires,$1.34 bat-bat.cab?,$4.46 heat gauge,$5.19 muffler,$2.06
sed
bowl,$1.65 pts,rotor cond, $1.34 start switch$1.76 amp meter, $1.77 dust
cap,$4.38dist
cap $2.00radiator, $1.68 light switch, $15.55 rings,$1.40 grind valves,
$2.00
gas tank, $8.53 JD paint,$1.50 wash.total153.23----sold the tractor for 300
dollars--owned it 5 months---part time work. By the way I made all gaskets I

could and reused what I could in order to save $ Neale
