[Farmall] OT: Need Help w OLD air compressor

I was given an old service station compressor that was in need of
similar parts, and I found a place that claimed to supply the needed
parts. I have since lost the information due to hard drive failures. It
may take a while, but do some searches on <www.google.com> using various
phrases like: "old compressor repair" or "antique compressor parts" (no
quotes) and stuff like that. The rings and gaskets are, surprisingly,
relatively easy to get, as there are several outfits that custom make
them for old cars and tractors. The valves, however, are going to be a
little trickier - if they are poppet valves (like a car/truck/tractor
engine), you are probably going to have to find identical ones that were
used in an engine - not impossible, as I suspect that the compressor
company probably used a standard product, rather than have something
specially made. If the valves are shot, you probably need new guides
too. Good luck!
