[AJD] need some help with PTO ???

Bobby,
The 540 rpm pto standard shaft had 6 splines, while the 1000 rpm pto
standard shaft has 21 splines.  That is probably the easiest way to
distinguish the two.  The 1000 rpm pto was designed to handle more torque
from higher horsepower tractors.
