[Farmall] 482 cub tractor

 Today i drived close to a junkyard and saw a little tractor is 482 the
tractor has de mower under but has not engine wich is missed, i would like
to have one and as is a very rare tractor here i would like to buy it (after
a long tour with the owner because is asking $1000 ) my question is, what
 engine may i put in this tractor, here are available hondas, Tekumseh,
etc. but , has that engine a especicial configuration, like (piston runs
horizontal or vert??),
haw is the transmission in this tractor?.
Good, thanks for any help. I  know i have the buyers guide of this tractors
but now i cannot read it for almost a week because i'm moving to a new house
and all my IH documantation has been very carefully packed.
