Walt,

I just use 87 octane gas in my A with no problem.  I have it timed at
the stock setting.  I get no knock until it is ready to stall from being
lugged down to far.

Lou this is a gas model I hope to get around 8.0  to 1 compression like
my 
Case LA. Any higher and we have to get  aviation  fuel to run it. We
want this 
tractor to be good at home for some work and to  pull strong at the
pulls.
