Andy,  I wouldn't turn that Caddy past about 4500 rpms on a regular basis. 
It is built to make low rpm torque.  High RPMs might cause you to have oil 
starvation problems and possibly crankshaft issues.   With a 4:10  4500 will 
come around pretty quickly.

That motor should make about 300 to 325 hp in stock trim.
