Dean,
Speaking of NW Iowa I spent a full day this past July rummaging around
salvage yards in Audubon and Wall Lake and then finished up the day viewing
a large collection (mostly Farmalls) at Pomeroy. When I left Pomeroy I
meandered over to Storm Lake, then up to Spencer and then West to Rock
Valley and on into Nebraska. Did I get anywhere near to your' family
farm/home place?
And speaking of Salem, SD ... yeah, we really do believe you when you say
that when you're there you spend all your' time at a tractor salvage yard!

Every time I visit NW IA I usually spend a portion of at least one day at
the Salem, South Dakota Tractor Salvage yard a few miles off of I90 and only
about 90 miles from home. Quite a good variety of antique tractors to pick
parts from. But I may not be able to go there any more. My cover has been
blown! See reason:
