Not sure what part of the country you're in, but if it's freezing you might 
just have a bit of ice in the sump and need to thaw/drain that out and 
you'll be OK.

I stripped the oil pump drive out on my JD H a while back, it got ice in the 
sump and it was solid enough to break things rather than chew up the ice.  I 
hope you don't have something like that to contend with.

The 49 G that I grew up on had the problem you describe from time to time. 
We would put a pan of coals under the engine and in a little while we could 
start it and it had pressure again.
